2022 BAMCAL January Round-up

The BAMCAL is continuing in 2022, with a brand new selection of squares following the established format of 2 worsted weight 12 inch squares and 1 x 6 inch, plus the occasional surprise along the way. The squares can be made in any weight of yarn at different scales - we just refer to 12 and 6 inches to enable comparison between these and other available squares.

We are very fortunate that the talented polly plum has once again agreed to open our CAL with a brand new design - Hope Springs. The design is available for free on Polly’s website, or ad-free, additional photo pdf for a small fee on Ravelry.

The vote for the members choice square also selected a Polly Plum square. Polly herself describes this as a beginners square creating a deceptively complex look. This one is again available from Polly’s website .

And finally the 6 inch is a simple introductory square from the archives. Granny Loves a Baby by Donna Mason-Svara is a Ravelry download.
